Suara Cooperativa has once again received recognition as a responsible organization with the Làbora Seal, which accredits the collaboration in the Làbora program and the hiring of people in a vulnerable situation during the year 2022.

The Làbora Program is a public-social cooperation project led by Barcelona City Council in collaboration with the social entities ECAS (Catalan Social Action Entities), FEICAT (Empreses d'Inserció de Catalunya) and the Red Cross. Its purpose is to promote employment and improve the employability of people who encounter barriers to access to employment.

During the year 2022, more than 7,500 people showed their interest in participating in the Làbora Program, of which almost 5,000 received personalized attention. Approximately 70% of the participants were women, of whom 958 obtained an employment contract. Most of these women were over 35 years of age.

In addition to providing support, guidance and training, the Làbora Program has contributed to more than 1,400 people signing more than 2,200 employment contracts, of which 67% were with women and 46% with people over 45 years of age.

The approach of the Làbora Program goes beyond job placement, it focuses on improving the skills of the people who participate. During the year 2022, more than 2,100 people, 68% of them women, started training itineraries within the framework of this program.

Beyond the recognition, last June 12 the VIII Networking Day of the Làbora Program took place, an event that brought together more than 300 candidates and 52 companies with the aim of promoting employability in the labor market of people with access difficulties.
