Around 60 people attend the presentation of the book ‘The breeze opens the doors closed by the wind’

The head office of Suara at Ronda Universitat welcomed yesterday the presentation of the book ‘The breeze opens the doors closed by the wind’, written by the member of Suara Isidre Cano. Around 60 people participated in the presentation to share the experiences collected in the book, short stories linked to the home care service.
The first part of the book presentation, edited by Suara with the support of the Barcelona City Council, was attended by the general manager of Suara Cooperativa, Ángels Cobo, and the member of Suara and book’s author, Isidre Cano, who highlighted the meaning of take care of people: “an experience which accompanies during the whole human life, understanding that each person wants to be cared in different ways”.
The member of Suara and author of the prologue, Miquel Moré, highlighted during the second part of the event the importance to give value to the daily work of a lot of professionals to improve the life of attended people. The event continued with the reading of some stories of the book, in charge of two family workers of the Barcelona Home Care Service managed by Suara Cooperativa. The closing session was attended by the president of the Governing Board of Suara, Montse Pujol.
