Social organizations and Barcelona City Council promote a program to combat energy poverty and creating jobs

The Catalan Federation of Social Action and the Barcelona City Council have presented a cooperation agreement to promote a new program with the dual aim of combating energy poverty and to promote employment of people with difficulties to access the labor market. Suara is one of the social organizations that carry out the program.
The agreement, worth 2.5 million euros -a 80% by the City Council and 20% by social-institutions, will allow hiring, training and train energy auditors as informers and 100 people unemployed long-term program linked to the work of employment also a joint initiative of the council and the third sector.
