Suara Direct Care Professionals improve its training in safety for old people
28 July, 2014
One hundred Direct Care Professionals of Suara Cooperative have strengthened their security training in various workshops conducted by the Catalan police and the Barcelona Municipal Consumer Information Office.
The first training session was held on 10 June, when the Catalan police visited Suara offices in Barcelona to transmit various security tips to a group of direct care professionals working in Ciutat Vella district in direct contact with old people or people in a dependency situation.
The initiative stems from the territorial directorate of Ciutat Vella in Barcelona following a case worked together with the Catalan Police, Social Services and Suara Cooperative.
The training provided will enable Suara direct care professionals to transmit prevention tips for preventing fraud or crimes directed to old people, making direct care professionals detection agents for potential security problems.
