Suara participates in a summer course at the International University Menéndez Pelayo of Santander

The director general of Suara, Serrat Camps, participated this week in the summer course at the International University Menéndez Pelayo in Santander which was done in collaboration with Corporación Mondragón.
Camps reviewed the history of Suara since its fusion, based on the contacts between the three cooperatives which created a common project in 2008. She said the key points of the process that had allowed the success of the bet. The numbers, since then, have been satisfactory.
The summer course was attended by experts from around the world to share the current situation this way of generating employment and wealth. The director general of Self-Employment and Social Economy of the Central Government, Miguel Angel Garcia Martin, noted that "cooperatives kept working steadily, focusing on the person." He did indicate, moreover, it is a quality work: "70% of the cooperative contracts are permanent and are more open to young and women".
