The diagnosis report of homelessness in Barcelona detects the increase of homeless people but also of care resources

28 November, 2017

The Diagnosis 2017 report, elaborated by the Homeless Care Network (XAPSLL) twice a year, was presented last 22th November at Palau Macaya, in Barcelona, with the purpose to make known the homelessness tendencies in Barcelona and the most emergent profiles and needs between homeless people. Suara is a member of XAPSLL.

The 2017 edition concludes that homelessness is increasing in Barcelona as the homeless care resources. The report is structured in six chapters and highlights how the migratory fluxes impact on the homelessness, and how the rent bubble makes the access to housing difficult.
