The facilities for homeless in Sarria and Zona Franca (Barcelona City Council) commemorate the 10th anniversary

Two municipal facilities for people experiencing homelessness in Barcelona, and currently managed by Suara Cooperativa, recently celebrated its 10th birthday in May: Sarrià and Zona Franca.
Both facilities were celebrating the opening of its doors 10 years ago, with the active participation of people who currently using them. The Deputy Mayor of Social Rights of the City of Barcelona, Laia Ortiz, chaired the two acts, accompanied by the head of the Department of Care for Vulnerable People, Carme Fortea, who made a positive assessment of the work that has been done over these past years by all management companies in favor of care for the homeless. They highlighted the efforts that the council and the social organizations are doing to fight against the current situation.
