The nursery school Bressolvent opens a multi-sensory classroom for children with neurological difficulties

The nursery school Bressolvent de Manresa, managed by Suara Cooperativa, has opened a multi-sensory classroom for children aged 0 to 12 years with neurological difficulties. It's a space with different materials where, through the therapeutic approach and not directive, gives free rein to the sensory experience of children. The new equipment will also be opened to the municipal nursery schools in the area of Bages, Berguedà and Moianès.
The initiative, which has counted with the support of the Provincial Council of Barcelona, wants to be an innovative space of therapeutic treatment for children with difficulties or neurological impairments. Travel through different areas of the space allows you to promote sensory experience looking for satisfaction, pleasure and calm, always respecting the motivation and the rhythm of each child.
The new equipment will also be opened outside the school hours for which children who do not belong to the centre. In this case, the space will be managed by the Ampans Foundation. This is the third multi-sensory classroom for a total of thirteen that will be opened in the demarcation of Barcelona.
