A Danish delegation gets to know the Dovela Caregivers Care Program

On Friday May 8 a delegation of professionals from Denmark visited the Dovela Residential Center to know its Caregivers Care Program and its Families Support and Participation Program.
A total of 15 people, including the Danish delegation, professionals and consultants of the Catalonia Health and Social Consortium and members of Pilares Foundation for Personal Autonomy –together with its president, Mrs. Pilar Rodríguez Rodríguez-, deepened in various programs to assist families and caregivers.
The meeting began with the presentation of the project Cuidamos Contigo (We care with you), a support program for family caregivers of people living at home developed by the Pilares Foundation. Anna Bonafont, a professor at the Vic University and co-director of the Master in Integral and Person Centered Attention of this center, announced its training program; while María José Guarino Blaya, Dovela manager, explained the Support and Participation Program for Familes that is being implemented in the Dovela Residential Center.
The visit, highly appreciated by all professionals, ends with a tour around the Dovela Residencial Center.
