Almost 50 members of Suara participated on Saturday 11 February at the first meeting of mentoring membres, which was held in Can Trona at La Vall d'en Bas. The ‘Tutors’ project is an initiative of the participation model in Suara, which wants to accompany, inform and answer questions to the aspiring members, in an informal and close way.
The ‘Tutors’ project is a clear commitment to strengthen the cooperative model: "New members need to know the cooperative and the cooperative model, how we organize ourselves, what does it mean to be a member, what is the difference between us and other companies and what is the assembly, the Board of Directors and the Management Board", says the president of the Governing Council, Montserrat Pujol.
Currently 110 members are involved in the project ‘Tutors’ in Suara. Since 2008, 181 members have played this role.
