Suara Cooperativa participates in a flashmob for homeless people in Barcelona

Last week, on 24th November, Cáritas of Barcelona organized a flashmob in Plaça Sant Jaume in Barcelona to provide in town a better visibility about homeless people.
With the participation of Suara Cooperativa, member of the Attention Network to Homeless People, the event was celebrated for the sixth time and let a hundred withe balloons fly up in the sky to symbolize the dignity of homeless people.
The flashmob is framed under the municipal campaign “It could be you”, who invites to reflex about causes of homeless situation and why people end up living on the street. Actually, according to the information provided by Cáritas, there are 3.182 people without home in Barcelona, a 33.6% more than in 2008.
