Suara participates in a Chilean seminar about dependence and attention to the care

Suara participated in the international seminar “Dependence and Support of the Care, an human rights issue”, celebrated on 11th and 12th January, at the Cultural Center of Palacio de la Moneda in Santiago de Chile. The seminar was organized by the Sociocultural Direction of Presidency and Family Foundation and was opened by the Chilean president, Michelle Bachelet, and the sociocultural director of presidency, Paula Forttes.
The general manager of Serproen, Sergi Morales, and the operations manager, Victoria Arizaga, collaborated in the definition of the program and featured the conference “Public-private relation, in the context of dependence services”. Morales explained the need to build a model based in proximity and home care and the general aspects to resolve the Chilean model of care, including “a regulatory to define the home services, a labour regulatory to develope this activity and a legal framework to develope social enterprises”. During his presentation, the general manager of Serproen also explained the experience developed in Spain with Public Partnership to manage care services of the elderly.
