The Third Sector demands more resources, planning and prevention to assist young migrants

28 September, 2018

The Third Social Sector maintains its commitment with the Government to respond to the migration emergency, but demands the Catalan executive more resources, planning and prevention to attend to young migrants without family references that arrive in Catalonia.

The social entities emphasize the need to reactivate the already existing spaces centered in the planning in the medium and long term and request to intensify their rate of work. In addition, they call on the Government to increase public investment in migration policies that address this phenomenon from a global context, by allocating the necessary economic resources to guarantee a welcome, support and inclusion with the highest standards of dignity and quality.
