Suara Cooperativa has actively participated in the Digital Transformation Congress of the Third Sector of Catalonia promoted by m4Social (the digital innovation project in the social sphere of the Table of Entities of the Third Social Sector of Catalonia) and Fundación Telefónica.

The day was held at the Social Hub in Barcelona with the aim of promoting the digital transformation of social entities and promoting a broad and deep debate on the role that technology can play in improving people's lives. Suara Innovation Manager Mohamed El Amrani explained the Cool Thinkers project, which has enabled the methodology to innovate to reach the entire organization.

For m4Social, accelerating the digital transformation of care for people is a challenge that must continue to be addressed because although almost all organizations in the third sector (92%) are aware of the importance of going digital, only one in three has started this transformation process according to the study on the State of Digitization in the Third Sector of Catalonia.

In turn, the 'White Book of the Digital Transformation of the Third Sector' published by Fundación Telefónica points out that in Spain there are around 27,000 social entities that serve almost 13 million people at risk of social exclusion and poverty. 44% have not yet launched their digital strategy and 19% do not even consider doing so in the long term.

During the day, the importance of cyber security and the possibilities of using emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, for the benefit of social intervention were addressed, as well as more global issues such as the digital revolution and motivation and transformation to promote the change.
