In the framework of Sant Jordi 2023, Day of the Book and Roses, in Suara we want to recognize with our book People who decide, each and every one of the professionals who have participated and are participating in Suara, making it possible, in its daily work and with its decisions, that the cooperative is today one of the most active agents in our society in promoting the well-being of people throughout their life cycle.
Thousands of people served, partners, workers, clients and collaborators are the soul of Suara. It is impossible to collect the testimony of all of them in a single book. However, People who decide is a small sample of what really makes sense of Suara: people who decide to act, take the lead, stand up to reality and decide! Decide that, whatever comes next, they will continue to work to promote the transformation of the social sector in favor of an improvement in the care of people.
The photographs in the book include a selection of projects with the intention of covering, as far as possible, the range of types of services and territories in which Suara is present. People who decide is a 129-page book that contains 70 black and white photographs, divided into four blocks by age groups (childhood and families, youth, adults and the elderly).
